Mario Drifting Into Google Maps For Mario Day

March 10 is Mario Day. Get it? Because it's Mar10. To celebrate the occasion, Google and Nintendo are putting Mario on the map – literally.

On the Google Maps app for Android and iOS, users on Mario Day can activate Mario Time, which makes a yellow question mark appear next to locales. Tapping on the marker makes Mario (in a kart, naturally) pop up on the map to take you to the destination. Google has yet to say if alleged best friends will toss a last-second blue shell at you just before you arrive.

Google and Nintendo teamed up in 2016 for a similar event to celebrate the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, in which Link acted as the navigator.
