Prey Twitter Account Teasing Possible Moon-Related Content
The Twitter account for Arkane Studios' and Bethesda's Prey has been fairly active for the entire month, but the latest tweet is raising some eyebrows.
"Do we really know what’s out there?" the account tweeted as a caption to a video of the camera slowly panning over to the moon. It raises the question of whether Prey DLC exists and if you'll be going to the moon. It is likely no coincidence that this tease came the same day Bethesda announced its planned E3 stage show.
While a critical darling, Prey did not sell particularly well. Pete Hines, vice president of Bethesda Games, has expressed the publisher's commitment to their single-player games, even if they don't sell. Additional Prey content would line up fairly well with that. Prey was released last May on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Our Take
I have yet to play Prey, but from what everyone says, more of the game sounds like a great thing. Hopefully this tease gets more information soon.
