Reader Discussion – Who Do You Want As Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC?
With today's news that both Broly and Bardock are making their way to Dragon Ball FighterZ as DLC characters, I can finally ask this question without being inundated with similar results: Who do you want as DLC character in Dragon Ball FighterZ?
Leaks abound as to who the rest of the roster will include, but nothing's set is stone yet, so we can still speculate. There could also be more DLC characters beyond the eight included in the first season pass, so there's that. This is all a way of saying that I'd really like it if Kid Goku and Arale made into the game at some point.
Kid Goku would be a fun way to add a fifth (or sixth, depending on if you believe the leaks) Goku to the cast who'd be very different. His Power Pole could be his special attack and move (it would extend across the entire screen very quickly). His level-one super could be a kamehameha that turns the screen white when he fires it (as was the case in Dragon Ball), and his level-three super would be him looking at the moon and turning into a giant ape and beating his opponent up for a bit. His super dash would even be him riding on the Nimbus Cloud, and his vanish attack could leave behind an afterimage effect.
Arale has a ton of moves at her disposal that would make it hard to whittle down. Also, if you think Arale would be a wouldn't be able to contend with the cast of FighterZ, consider this excerpt from the Dragon Ball Wiki, about her appearance Dragon Ball Super (SPOILERZ):
During a world invention conference in West City, she has taken a dose of Playtime X fed to her by the ghost form of Dr. Mashirito. Vegeta agrees to play with her but she clearly outclasses him and Vegeta admits to never wanting to fight a gag character ever again. After recognizing Goku she does a beam battle with him as Super Saiyan Blue which ends in a draw.
She's a strong as Super Saiyan Blue Goku canonically, which is more than you can say for most of the cast of FighterZ. So there.
