Gears Of War 4 Celebrates Year Of The Dog With Horde Event, Experience Boost, And More
Now that the lovey-dovey holiday is out of the way, it's as good a time as any to rev up some chainsaws and join in the carnage. Gears of War 4 is celebrating the Year of the Dog by kicking off a new Horde event with a double XP weekend starting February 16. Pouncers and Juvies will attack in droves against weakened fortifications, players will get a chance to earn some sweet loot, and changes are coming to both how experience points and quitters are handled.

- Double XP is the new standard, meaning the double XP weekend will net you four times the experience you're used to
- The Year of the Dog “Pouncer Madness” Horde event begins February 16
- Daily login rewards starting on February 16
- Destroy all duplicates and create multiples in Card Companion
- Quit time out penalties have been increased while wait times to boot inactive players have been decreased
