Latest PUBG Xbox One Update Rolls Back Vehicle Changes Made In Previous Update

by Imran Khan on Feb 07, 2018 at 04:36 PM

A new update has hit the servers for the Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which seems primarily designed to eliminate the vehicle damage changes made in the update made before it.

The previous update made adjustments to vehicle damage, making said vehicles do more damage and take more damage. The update also came with a host of new and different bugs, so it is being rolled back entirely.

"We received a lot of great feedback following the changes made to vehicle/player damage," the developers wrote on the official forums. "We continue to tune and balance this element of gameplay, and are therefore reverting back to increased damage if a player is struck by a vehicle."

It also fixes bugs the damage adjustment caused, such as characters teleporting once they exit a vehicle.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds released on Xbox One in December and charts a separate path for fixes and updates than its PC sibling.
