Bandai Namco Delays Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom
March is quickly becoming an insane month for game releases. Ubisoft recently delayed Far Cry 5 to March and now Bandai Namco is pushing the release of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom into March as well. The upcoming role-playing game from Level-5 was originally set to release on January 19, but fans will now have to wait until March 23 to experience all the magic and whimsy that's sure to be packed into Ni No Kuni II.
In a press release, Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino says, "In order to ensure that everything works perfectly and above all [maintains the] entertaining and the high quality standards of Level-5 and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. we can only celebrate the release of Ni No Kuni II on 23 March. On behalf of the whole Level-5 team, I thank you for your patience and further support."

Our Take
Packed with creativity and an attention to detail, the original Ni No Kuni was a very special game. From everything we've seen so far, Ni No Kuni II looks like it's more ambitious but still mindful of why fans love the original game. Hopefully the extra two months will allow the team at Level-5 to make sure they execute on their ambition and create a truly great RPG experience.
