Breath Of The Wild Wins Golden Joystick Ultimate Game Of The Year Award, See Aonuma's Acceptance Speech Here

by Imran Khan on Nov 17, 2017 at 03:11 PM

At the 35th annual Golden Joystick awards, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild walked away with four awards, including Ultimate Game of the Year. As a result, the team at Nintendo got to give an acceptance speech, and series producer Eiji Aonuma delivered this good and probably not all that inaccurate line.

You can see Aonuma's entire speech here, which also mentions that director Hidemaro Fujibayashi (who also directed Skyward Sword and the Minish Cap, among others) is not there for the acceptance speech because he is busy working on The Champions' Ballad DLC, which Nintendo says will release before the end of the year.

Here's a full list of all the winners at the Golden Joystick awards. You can also watch a VOD of the show here on Twitch.
