As an IP that has enjoyed a roller coaster few years, it seems like Hitman finds itself in the new once again before the close of 2017 with the announcement of a new TV show from Hulu.

The new show, helmed by John Wick creator Derek Kolstad, will be Hulu's attempt at creating an action-drama that can headline its service of original programming. While no date has been set for it, Hulu is already pushing forward to begin the adaptation.

This would be Hitman's third attempt at live action. The first attempt, 2007's Hitman starring Timothy Olyphant, did not quite hit its target of audiences or, uh, critics. The second attempt. 2015's Hitman: Agent 47, also failed to catch on. Who better to bring Hitman to life than people behind John Wick, however?
