Injustice 2's Next Fighter Pack Adds The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Although Injustice 2's last major crossover character, Hellboy, isn't out until next Tuesday, Netherealm couldn't quite help itself and announced another: The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Announced before the grand finals match of last night's Injustice 2 Eleauge tournament, Injustice 2's Fighter Pack 3 DLC adds the previously-announced The Atom (a silver-age DC comics hero who is currently part of Batman's new Justice League) and Enchantress (a member of the comics' current Suicide Squad), and of course, the four Turtles. Atom will be available for Early Access on December 12, but no dates on the other fighters were given.
Our Take
I'm pleasantly shellshocked by this announcement! Other players will Cowerabunga as I Turtleize the competition! Although they didn't have character breakdowns for the Turtles, I'm almost positive all four will be a single character (since six characters in on fighter pack would be kind of a lot and Leonardo chastises Raphael by saying "we fight as a team!"), so it'll be cool to see how the moves have turtles swapping out or if you mostly play as Leonardo and the other turtles come in for assist moves.
