The Empire Is Divided In The Upcoming DLC For Total War: Rome II
Save one of the world’s greatest empires from its impending downfall, or help speed up its demise, in the upcoming DLC for Total War: Rome II.
In the year 270, Rome is sliding toward an economic collapse. Barbarians and the Sasanian Empire are knocking on the door wanting to take advantage of the opportunity. The Empire Divided DLC includes 10 playable factions, allowing players to chose whether they want to aid in Rome’s defense, or watch it crumble under their thumb.
Empire Divided also includes new events and missions, as well as banditry, which grows with your empire and leads to food shortages. Be sure to also keep an eye on plagues, which can spread across an empire without being kept in check with sanitation buildings.
There are plenty of other changes coming with this DLC, including overhauled technology trees, updated building chains, and new units.
