Rainbow Six Siege Season 4 Kicks Off With Confirmation Of Another Year Of Content

by Imran Khan on Nov 02, 2017 at 07:26 PM

Rainbow Six Siege has become a surprisingly huge multiplayer title since its release in December 2015, with Ubisoft churning out plenty of content to nurture the community over the last two years. As season four of its second year kicks off, Ubisoft has decided to stoke its fires a little longer with a confirmation of new characters and maps.

Operation White Noise includes three new operators, includes one attacker, one defender, and a new GROM operative. According to Ubisoft's description, the attacker "is stubborn and daring while the defender is methodical and tenacious," while the GROM operative "is known for their resilience and bravery."

The new map takes place in Seoul's skyline, specifically an observation tower. Details on it are scant, but hopefully you get a real sense of vertigo if you bother to look down.

The Ubisoft blog also mentions "we will have more news to share on the exciting things to come in Year 3," indicating that the company plans to support the game for the foreseeable future. The full post can be found at Ubisoft's Rainbow 6 blog. There's no time frame given to the new content, but it's likely coming fairly soon.
