Check out The Trailer For Dead By Daylight's Nightmare On Elm Street Chapter
We reported a few weeks ago on Dead by Daylight's Freddy teaser, but now we have official confirmation of the Nightmare on Elm Street chapter coming on October 26 on Steam, with console versions coming later.
Dead by Daylight is an asynchronous horror game by Behaviour Interactive. In the game, one team is made up of four survivors in third-person, while another player takes on the role of the killer in first-person, similar to games like Evolve or, much more directly, Friday the 13th.
Different chapters have different sets of survivors, environments, and of course killers, with the Nightmare on Elm Street chapter obviously focusing on Freddy. The DLC will come to Steam first and come to consoles at an undetermined later date. Check out the trailer below and let us know what other guests you'd like to see in the game.
Our Take
Shame that they couldn't get the original Freddy likeness, but hopefully they manage to nail the feel of the movie in the game. We might finally get a Freddy game better than Rare's NES adventure title!
