Hitman GOTY Edition Includes New Patient Zero Campaign

by Matthew Kato on Oct 24, 2017 at 10:09 AM

Hitman developer IO Interactive's first release as an independent studio is a Game of the Year edition for Hitman – a title that originally tinkered around with various release models before finishing its first full season a year ago.

This game of the year edition includes that first season as well as a new Patient Zero campaign, three themed Escalation contracts, three new suits (with weapons), lighting enhancements, and more.

Patient Zero tasks Agent 47 with taking out an infected target over four missions before he spreads a deadly virus.

Hitman: GOTY Edition is out digitally on November 7 (PS4, Xbox One, and PC) for $60, but if you already own the game (digitally or on disc), you can get a GOTY upgrade digitally for $20. This upgrade is also available to anyone who purchased all the episodes individually or the Intro/Upgrade pack combo.

Even if you don't get this new edition, the already released title is getting an update complete with new Contracts mode features, a redesigned U.I., and other additions.
