Battlefield 1 Turning Tides Expansion Delivers Four Maps & More In Split Release

Electronic Arts and developer DICE have announced the contents of Battlefield 1's next expansion: Turning Tides.

The rollout begins in December with two maps (Cape Helles/Achi Baba), a new operation in Gallipoli, vehicles, and more, and it continues in January with the remaining pair of maps (Heligoland Bight/Zeebrugge) and a new faction: The British Royal Marines.

The maps take place in Gallipoli in Turkey and the North Sea, and encompass air, land, and sea battles (the new operation – an amphibious assault on Gallipoli – uses the Cape Helles and Achi Baba maps).

Turning Tides also includes the Conquest Assault mode, new service assignments, unlocks (such as dog takes and service stars), specializations, six new weapons, a four-person destroyer, and a C-Class airship. All these are in the January release, which also includes the Infiltrator elite class. This kit offers a permanent sprint for calling artillery strikes and deploying a mobile spawn.
