Cryptic Dead By Daylight Trailer Hints At Freddy Krueger
A vague trailer has been posted for the multiplayer survival game, hinting at a new threat to survivors and a new option for killers.
Released earlier this morning, the video shows an industrial pipe slashed by unseen claws before a fifth cut comes down to create the game's logo. The trailer ends with a simple warning: Don't fall asleep. It all seems to pretty clearly be pointing to Freddy Krueger.
Dead By Daylight launched on PC June 20, 2016 and on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One June 20, 2017. Developed by Behaviour Interactions, the game offers players an asymmetrical multiplayer experience, with a team of survivors trying to outlast a slasher controlled by another player. We're fairly certain we know what this is hinting at, but it doesn't make it any less exciting to see a dream-based killer added to the mix just in time for Halloween.
