Rockstar isn't satisfied with ruling the road, sea, or air; they want it all. In a trailer for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto Online update, Rockstar showcases Transform Races, which allow players to instantly transition between land, air, and sea vehicles mid-race.
Giving players the ability to transform between rocket cars, jet skis, and stunt planes opens up more options for zany race tracks, which is why the update will also include warps, new checkpoints that can teleport racers across the map. Transform Races warp into GTA Online on October 17.
Our Take:
This is sure to add another layer of wackiness to stunt races. GTA Online players have already created some insane single-vehicle races, so I can't wait to see what kind of vertigo-inducing insanity the community creates with these tools.
