Witcher 3 Patch Brings PS4 Pro Support
Prepares your eyeballs, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now PlayStation 4 Pro compatible.
According to CD Projekt Red, the new upgrade patch provides 4K support and slightly boosted performance, lending the PS4 Pro's power to Geralt's already impressive looking open world adventure.
If you've never played the Witcher or you want to experience Geralt's swan song for the second time, this patch is a great excuse to jump into the massive open-world RPG. Check our review of the original game (which won our 2015 Game of the Year award) and its stellar expansion (which won our 2016 RPG of the year award).
Our Take:
The Witcher 3 had some of the most gorgeous landscapes and detailed environments in gaming, but there were the occasional slowdowns and framerate issues in certain areas. I'm excited to see how the additional power from the PS4 Pro improves the overall Witcher experience.
