Mobile Hit Reigns Getting A Sequel With Reigns: Her Majesty This Year

Developer Nerial has announced a sequel to its mobile hit Reigns with Reigns: Her Majesty and it is releasing this year.

In this sequel, you play as a queen making myriad small decisions that will affect the health of your kingdom. The game will feature a new kingdom with new drama, a mystical inventory, which will let you, "Find and upgrade five special items in a new inventory system." Her Majesty will also include Royal Challenges which outline specific goals for you.

The game is coming to iOS, Android, and Steam sometime before the end of the year.

Our Take
Reigns is one that passed me by, but I see the appeal, especially on a mobile platform. This announcement, oddly, may be the the thing that encourages me to go back and see what I missed.
