Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Endgame Revealed
Eurogamer reports that the sequel to Shadow of Mordor is looking to outdo the original game with a much meatier endgame.
A cap to the main campaign, the newly revealed Shadow Wars essentially flips the main game on its head. Throughout the game, the player attacks and liberates fortresses held by enemy orcs. Shadow Wars reverses this and tasks the player with defending a fortress or, if you failed to hold it, retaking it and rescuing the Orc you had installed to defend it.
Players who finish Shadow Wars will get the true ending for the game, which bridges Shadow of War with the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Shadow of Mordor really suffered by making you a walking god during the second half of the game, so switching that up by giving you bigger challenges sounds good.
