AbleGamers Charity Seeking To Start Panel To Better Support Accessibility

by Imran Khan on Aug 10, 2017 at 12:51 PM

AbleGamers, a charity focused on making sure everyone can play video games, is seeking to create a panel of gamers with disabilities to help publishers find ways to make games more accessible.

Qualifying gamers can sign up on the AbleGamers website to provide feedback for developers and publishers on accessibility. This allows developers to figure out alternate control schemes of controller remapping, for example, to facilitate playing the game for someone who otherwise might not be able to do so.

AbleGamers has given out awards to games for their options in accessibility, such as Bayonetta 2, especially for offering multiple control options.
