Naughty Dog has not been particularly forthcoming with information on The Last of Us: Part II, the hotly anticipated sequel to 2013's action survival game, after its announcement in December 2016. Some internet sleuths on The Last of Us subreddit, however, might have figured out enough details from the game's concept art to figure out it takes place in Seattle, Washington.

A very convincing post by user Voldsby on the aforementioned subreddit lays out the argument with pictures of Seattle's various signs and landmarks and finds matching imagery in the art released for the game. The comparisons get so granular that at one point, Voldbsy points out that the vegetation in the concept art is indigenous to western North America, specifically Washington.

The Last of Us Part II is a PlayStation 4 exclusive but currently does not have a release date.

Our Take
The first game involved a lot of traveling, so we wouldn't be shocked if Joel and Ellie ended up in Seattle this time around. That said, the real story is how well these users managed to pull information from the concept art alone.
