Titanfall 2's Latest DLC Introduces Four Player Co-Op Mode

by Jared Koncsol on Jul 18, 2017 at 02:50 PM

Operation Frontier Shield is Titanfall 2's latest free DLC which brings a slew of new content including the Frontier Defense game mode, new maps, and more.

Frontier Defense is a four player co-op mode which throws five increasingly difficult waves of enemies at your team as you fight to protect your Harvester against new, challenging enemies. Within the mode, the new Aegis Ranks Titan progression will be available, making it easier for players to match up with the higher difficulty options offered in Frontier Defense.

Along with the new mode, Respawn is rolling out two new maps, Rise and Township. Rise takes the battle to an abandoned desert reservoir with sheer tower walls creating corridors throughout the map. Township, a Live Fire map, limits cover in a modular residential area, offering dense interiors and advantages for those that control the rooftops.

New purchasable content such as Elite Warpaints for weapons and Titans also becomes available in this DLC package.

Operation Frontier Shield goes live on July 25. A trial of Titanfall 2 is being offered from July 28-30 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Origin on PC.
