Friday The 13th Slays The Competition In PlayStation 4's June Top Downloads List
Sony has released a list of the most-downloaded PS4 games in June, and Jason Voorhees successfully slashed his way to the top.
Illfonic's multiplayer-only survival horror hit released in late May, and despite some serious technical issues, the game sold well enough to land at the number-two spot for PS4 downloads. Those strong sales have continued, as Friday The 13th took top honors for June. However, that will likely change next month; Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which released on June 30, sold enough day-one copies to land at number two on the top downloads list. A big June sale launched Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor to the number-three spot.

Having more data points for which games are doing well is always helpful, but with PlayStation's top downloads list, it's important to keep pricing in mind. Still, it's great to see smaller titles like Friday The 13th and the N. Sane trilogy get their due.
