The choose your own adventure style of storytelling has made its way from books to video games, but it hasn't really come to television yet. That's changing today; Netflix has just announced a new interactive storytelling initiative for some of its most popular children's series.
So far, two interactive series have been announced. The first features everyone's favorite boot-wearing cat, and it's out today. The second is Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile, and it will be released on July 14.
It's currently unclear just how much impact your choices will have on the storyline, but this sounds like a great way to make more engaging television for kids. You can see some clips from the shows along with some of the choices you'll make in the announcement trailer below.
