Killer Instinct Heading To Steam
At this year's Community Effort Orlando tournament, the Killer Instinct finals were on the main stage. After their conclusion, we got a special announcement: the game is heading to Steam later this year.
Killer Instinct confirmed the news on their official Twitter page.

Iron Galaxy and Microsoft did not announce a solid date, pricing, or other specifics. However, if you were looking to get into the flashy fighter but like to keep your PC gaming squarely in Valve's ecosystem, this should be good news.

Our Take
This is undoubtedly good news, but I'm curious to see if purchases of the Windows 10 version will somehow transfer over to Steam. This usually isn't the case with most Win10 titles, but you can always hope.
