Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Coming This Year, Story Detailed With New Trailer
After opening the show with a few brief clips of well-covered games like Splatoon 2, Arms, Pokkén Tournament, and a surprise appearance from Rocket League, Nintendo truly opened its Spotlight presentation with Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
The game is still on track for holiday 2017, and the trailer details some of the game's story. The protagonist is on a journey to bring a woman, who is also a sword, to Elysium. Over the course of the trailer distinct environments like beaches, snowy areas, and forests were shown, as well as an assortment of creatures and animals. Dragons were flying through the air, along with rideable creatures. It also looks like the game's protagonist will be carrying a cat in his backpack through the course of the adventure.
