NBA Live 18 Shows Off 'The One' Mode, Demo Coming In August
NBA Live 18's single-player component, focuses on two distinct aspects of a pro player's life: how they perform in the professional league, and how they perform on the streets.
Titled "The One," it focuses on having your player make choices outside of each game. You play in both professional league games and unofficial games in the streets, taking on popular NBA players on courts like the famous Venice Beach. On the street-side courts, players can increase their stats and earn respect from others, as well as shoes and other gear they can equip between games. The One has both solo, co-op, and multiplayer modes (including a five-on-five mode), as well as Pro-Am tour.
For those curious about checking the mode out, EA also announced it is releasing a free demo for The One in August.
