Nintendo Hosting Pokémon Direct Tomorrow Morning
E3 is fast approaching, and companies are putting the finishing touches on their show demos, presentations, and other newsworthy nuggets. Nintendo is getting ahead of the blast zone with a special Pokémon Direct, which is set for tomorrow morning.
The stream starts at 7:00 a.m. Pacific on June 6. Nintendo isn't saying anything about it now, other than the starting time and that it's 8-minutes long. Set your alarms.
Our Take
This is a pretty smart play for Nintendo. Super Mario Odyssey is going to be a big presence at this year's E3, and there's a chance that Pokémon news – whatever it may be – could get buried amid all the Mario coverage. Whatever Nintendo has for us on the Pokémon front tomorrow, it's going to get more attention tomorrow morning than it would at the show.
