First 4 Figures Announces 25th Anniversary Sonic The Hedgehog Statue
Sonic the hedgehog could have a pretty good year, for once. What we've seen of Sonic Mania has impressed us so far, and Sonic Forces shows promise. If both of those end up being busts, Sonic fans will have at least a $385 statue to keep us company.
First 4 Figures has announced its latest Sonic The Hedgehog statue, celebrating the series' 25th anniversary. The statue, pre-orders for which will start on June 6 on First 4 Figures' website, features the classic, short-legged rendition of Sonic running past one of the classic games' end-of-level signs, which buyers can customized with one of four different images to see as it spins. Sonic's red shoes (which are depicted in the signature blurry figure-eight fashion) have lights that wind up and get faster as they trace the figure eight formation.
