Price And Release Date Announced For Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court

by Douglas DeLong on May 25, 2017 at 03:23 PM

After a delay earlier this year, we now have a release date for Darkest Dungeon's first expansion. Red Hook Studios announced the price and release date for The Crimson Court on the game's official blog today.

The expansion will be available to download on Steam, GoG, Humble, and Twitch on June 19th for $9.99. The PSN release is targeted for the following month, but the developers are hesitant to announce a specific release date.

The Crimson Court adds a variety of content to the game, including a brand new dungeon to explore with "massive, sprawling maps", a unique faction of enemies and bosses to fight, a hero class that is "awash in blood and delusion", and new buildings for the estate.

Our Take
Darkest Dungeon is one of the best turn-based dungeon crawlers in recent memory, and this new content is a great excuse to dive back into its terrifying world.
