New Life Is Strange Game On The Way, Original Achieves 3 Million Unique Players

by Kyle Hilliard on May 18, 2017 at 11:30 AM

Developer Dontnod announced today that development is already underway on a new Life is Strange.

You can check out a video from the game's creative team below where they reveal that Life is Strange recently achieved three million unique players, and that a new Life is Strange is on the way. Curiously, the team does not specifically say Life is Strange 2, or call it a sequel. The studio is also working on a new RPG called Vampyr, which you can read about here.

We reviewed each episode individually, but if you're interested in our complete thoughts on the full experience, you can check out our review of the final episode here.

Our Take
I'm guessing that this new Life is Strange won't be a sequel, or continue Max's story, but rather will be a new game with new characters in the style of Life is Strange. Hopefully we will find out more soon.
