Harvest Moon: Light Of Hope Announced For Switch, PS4 & PC

by Matthew Kato on May 16, 2017 at 10:04 AM

Natsume has big things planned for the 20th anniversary of Harvest Moon – including a new title called Light of Hope.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope doesn't have a concrete release date yet, but it is announced for the Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC (via Steam),  and the game tasks players with rebuilding a town and saving a lighthouse after their ship crash lands in a harbor town after a monsoon. The game naturally also features livestock, crops, friends, and family, and Natsume president Hiro Maekawa says that this title will have "clear-cut goals."

Apart from a new Harvest Moon title, Natsume is also committing to re-releasing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition and Save the Homeland for the PS4, as well as Harvest Moon 64 for the Wii U. No dates have been announced for these re-releases. Also coming is a Harvest Moon Lil' Farmers app.
