N++ Doubles Number Of Levels In Free Ultimate Edition Update

by Suriel Vazquez on Apr 22, 2017 at 02:48 PM

N is one of the landmark indie platformers of the last decade, both because of its role as an originator, and because it holds up quite well on its own merits. N++, available on PlayStation 4 and PC, is the currently the most complete, packed version of the game, and it's about to get a lot more packed.

The game's free Ultimate Edition update (available now on PC and "coming soon" to PS4) brings the game's level count to over 4,300, adds dozens of new color schemes, bandanas, and other hides a few secrets, as well. It also introduces Hardcore mode, which developer Metanet Software promises will let players "see Solo [mode] in a whole new light."

If you're itching to get your hands on the update now, the game is currently on sale for half-off on Steam as a Daily Deal.

Our Take
I never got to finish all the levels in N++ in the first place, but hearing there's new content for the game gives me the itch to jump back in.
