Sniper Elite 4's Next Wave Of DLC Coming Next Week
Rebellion is releasing its next wave of Sniper Elite 4 DLC next week, which includes the first chapter in a new three-episode campaign, a new multiplayer map and mode, and more.
Deathstorm Part 1: Inception kicks off the new story, which is set after the main campaign. It's set on a Nazi naval base in northern Italy, where hero Karl Fairburne has to finish off what a recent bombing run was incapable of completing. In addition, he has to retrieve a package codenamed Deathstorm, which is somehow tied to the Manhattan Project.
There's also a Night Fighter expansion, which includes a trio of new weapons, eight nighttime-themed weapons skins, and new skins for both male and female characters.
On the multiplayer front, the game is getting a new mode and map as free DLC. In elimination, two teams of six battle. When you eliminate an enemy they're knocked from the match until (or unless) one of their teammates scores a kill. At that point, they pop back into the action. The game continues until one team is entirely eliminated. In addition, a new Night Woods map is an atmospheric level set in a dark forest.
The DLC is coming March 21.
