Xbox One Controller Charger Recalled Due To Safety Concerns
PDP, the popular creator of various video game peripherals, has announced a recall of one of its products.
The company is warning users of the Energizer Xbox One 2X Smart Charger that the product can overheat and cause damage to Xbox One controllers and, more importantly, present a burn hazard. While no actual injuries have been reported as of yet, PDP is not waiting around to be targeted in a justifiable lawsuit. Owners of the product can return the charger for a full refund. The seemingly ironically named 2X Smart Charger first went on sale in February 2016, and PDP says that approximately 121,000 units were sold.
