The ninth fighting game planned for the EVO 2017 stage has been selected and it's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

The game won the chance to be featured as part of the tournament by way of charity donations. Fans donated money to the game they wanted to see played at EVO between the choices of Mortal Combat XL, Skullgirls, Pokkén Tournament, Killer Instinct Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Arms, Windjammers, Nidhogg, and of course, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 raised just under $72,000 with Pokkén coming up in second place with just under $67,000.

The PlayStation 4 version of the game is the one that will be played. For more on EVO 2017, head here.
