Sega has announced an April release date for Puyo Puyo Tetris, its upcoming puzzle-game mashup that includes the two games as well as a hybrid mode that combines elements from both.
Puyo Puyo Tetris will be available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 25. The physical version on PS4 – the only way it's coming to the platfform – is priced at $29.99, the same price as the digital version on Switch. If you want a physical version on Switch, it'll set you back $39.99.
Our Take
Sega is including a pair of keychains with the Switch version, but that's only for the first run of the game. It'll be interesting to see if this price discrepancy is something that will be consistent on multiplatform games that hit the Switch, or if this is only an anomaly.
