Weekend Warrior – The Terror Of Days Off
Some people like to enjoy their days off; we like to scare ourselves silly. Resident Evil 7 and Yakuza 0 are on our playlists for the weekend. What will you be playing, watching, reading, and otherwise doing this weekend? Let us know in the comments!
Jeff Cork (@gijeff) – My son’s celebrating his birthday this weekend, which means there are going to be a bunch of screaming children running around my house. It only seems appropriate to keep the horror theme rolling and spend the rest of the weekend playing Resident Evil 7. I’ll also sneak in a few more matches of Overwatch, even though I know that the only thing those new loot boxes contain is disappointment.
Javy Gwaltney (@HurdyIV) – I'm going to be tracking down the legendary chicken in Yakuza 0 and hopefully finishing up the (excellent) new adaptation of A Series Of Unfortunate Events. I'll probably make some time for SWAT 4 as well since it was just rereleased.
Brian Shea (@BrianPShea) – This weekend I’ll be pretty focused on Yakuza 0, but I’ll likely find some time to play Resident Evil 7 and Overwatch. I’d also like to slip in some time for NBA 2K17 since I missed it this time around, but I don’t know where I’ll find the time.
Ben Hanson (@yozetty) – Oh man, what am I going to play this weekend? I might keep trekking through Resident Evil 7, or continue playing Yakuza 0. Then there’s this new local multiplayer game on Steam that looks like it could be fun called SpiritSphere. Have a good weekend!
Kyle Hilliard (@KyleMHilliard) – I got sidetracked away from Yakuza 0 by Resident Evil VII during the week. I am excited to get back to it though and see what all the fuss is about. The only other thing I need to do this weekend is try Taco Bell’s new chicken taco thing.
Suriel Vazquez (@SurielVazquez) – I’m going to do a lot of catching up this weekend. I recently got back into Destiny to try to do all the raids before Destiny 2 hits, so I’m probably gonna do some daily and storyline stuff to level up a bit. Now that my Injustice 2 hype is in full swing, I’ll also be replaying the original to get a refresher (this could easily fall by the wayside if a I get a beta code, though). Finally, I’m finally going to dive into Resident Evil 7 for real, though I’m having some technical issues with the PC version (surprise!).
Andrew Reiner (@Andrew_Reiner) – If I play my cards right, I should hit level 100 in Overwatch this weekend. Outside of this venture, I won’t have much time for gaming, as I have big family stuff planned, and a Christmas party to go to (yes, people still have them this far into the new year).
Elise Favis (@elisefavis) – I'll be playing Resident Evil 7 and Yakuza 0 for most of the weekend. I've also borrowed a PSVR from the office so I can try RE7 with it. Here's hoping I don't get too motion sick or freak out my neighbors too much with my screaming.
