Weekend Warrior – A Series Of Fortunate Days

by Ben Reeves on Jan 20, 2017 at 01:00 PM

Don't bother us we're busy watching TV shows, playing video games, and trying to ignore what's happening in the outside world. You know? What we do every weekend. What will you be playing, watching, reading, and otherwise doing this weekend? Let us know in the comments!

Kyle Hilliard (@KyleMHilliard) – I’m still dabbling in Final Fantasy XV a bit. I am three Achievements short  of getting them all and I might as well go all the way. I’ve come this far, right? Being in New York for the Switch event last weekend made for a very busy weekend, so for these days off I plan on sitting around, watching Steven Universe (which I have become a recent fan of), and doing an embarrassing amount of laundry.

Ben Hanson (@yozetty) – This weekend I just don’t know what to play. I’ve been meaning to get around to Hitman, but I’d really like to start playing Yakuza 0. Other than that, I just watched some Age of Empires II on Twitch and maybe this could be a bonafide RTS weekend…there’s so much to choose from! Have a good weekend!

Javy Gwaltney (@HurdyIV) – I’m going to be finishing up Lemony Snicket’s Series Of Unfortunate Events and trying to beat my high score on Super Hexagon…and probably playing through more of Resident Evil 4. Again. Oops.

Andrew Reiner (@Andrew_Reiner) – After gifting several of my friends Overwatch for Christmas, we play almost every night. This weekend will be no different. I also plan on watching the rest of the OA (I’m on episode six), as well as A Series of Unfortunate Events. I’m loving both shows.

Jeff Cork (@gijeff) – I’ve been focusing on Yakuza 0 lately, so I haven’t had a lot of time for much else as far as gaming goes. That means this weekend is all about making sure I get enough Overwatch wins to get the three weekly loot chests in Arcade mode. Beyond that, I don’t have many plans. Maybe that’s a sign that I should go outside or something.

Wade Wojcik (@wadewojcik) – Destiny’s Iron Banner is going on this weekend and I’ve got a level cap to reach. I’ll be in the crucible sticking nades and caping domes with Outbreak Prime late into the night. Also I picked up the John Cena taunt from the Eververse. That’ll look great behind my bubble shield in Control :V
