Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows Of Valentia Revealed For 3DS

During the Fire Emblem-themed Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo revealed Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

The upcoming 3DS game takes inspiration from the second installment in the series, Fire Emblem Gaiden. It will feature dual protagonists, Alm and Celica, who find themselves amidst a tragic war dividing the nation. Watch the reveal trailer below.

With free-roam exploration, dungeon crawling, character progression and more, Fire Emblem Echoes is taking heavy inspiration from Gaiden, using "classic Fire Emblem gameplay with a twist." 

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia launches on May 19. Protagonists Alm and Celica will also be available as Amiibos on the same day.
