Here's A Trailer For The First Nintendo Switch Exclusive, Seasons Of Heaven

by Jeff Marchiafava on Dec 19, 2016 at 12:46 PM

Seasons of Heaven was announced as a Nintendo Switch exclusive just a few weeks ago, and if you're eager to learn more about the indie adventure game, you're in luck; French developer Any Arts Productions has released a new trailer showing off the main protagonist and some of the environments he'll be exploring with his dog.

As we learned earlier this month, Seasons of Heaven is an adventure game about a young boy with Asperger's Syndrome named Yann, and his faithful pooch Ani. The game is based on a French novel of the same name, and allows you to control both characters. The new trailer helps give players an idea of the mood Seasons of Heaven is aiming for, showing off a number of atmospheric environments. See it for yourself in the trailer below.

Any Arts hasn't shared any more information about the game, but at this point we don't have a lot of information about the Nintendo Switch either. We suspect we'll learn more about both in a few weeks during Nintendo's Switch presentation on January 12.

Our Take
Gamers have been waiting to see what the Nintendo Switch is capable of from a power standpoint, but there's not a lot we can decipher based on Seasons of Heaven's new trailer. Not only does the project look early in development, there's no telling how the indie developer is using the hardware. We'll have to wait longer for a true benchmark of the upcoming system.
