Christopher Nolan, the director of the Dark Knight trilogy and Inception is setting his sights on a movie about a pivotal battle of World War II.This action thriller is filled with the gritty tone and lighting that Nolan is known for.
The battle this movie was based on arguably decided the war, with Britain almost surrendering to Germany had the operation not been successful. Fighter planes will play a big role in this film as they mercilessly pick off Allied soldiers from the skies. You can check out the trailer below.

The movie is set to come to theaters July 21.
