Togepi, Pichu, Holiday Pikachu, And A Few More Gold & Silver Pokémon Added To Go
Togepi, Pichu, and several "select Pokémon" are now available in Pokémon Go.
People have been excited for more Pokémon to catch in Niantic's augmented reality app for a long time, and now you'll finally be able to find a few new critters. The catch is you'll only be able to add them to your Pokédex if you walk and hatch eggs. The new Pokémon are from the Gold and Silver generation, but it's unclear how many of them there are. Trainers will also be able to discover a limited edition Pikachu, decked out in a festive hat to celebrate the holidays until December 29.
This all following the news that 7,800 Starbucks have become PokéStops.
