Pokémon Go Giving Thanks To Fans With Double XP Event
Thanksgiving is this week (on a Thursday, no less!), and Niantic Inc. is celebrating with an in-game event for Pokémon Go. Players can earn double XP and Stardust starting this week.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Central on November 22, through the same time November 30. The last event, which was based around Halloween, also increased the odds that certain spooky monsters would appear. It doesn't appear that there's going to be a poultry parallel this time around, but you never can tell. Maybe eating a Pidgey is a thing in some regions?
