by Suriel Vazquez on Nov 19, 2016 at 04:52 AM

The weekend before a big holiday (like Thanksgiving) are usually pretty tense; you know you still have things to do before heading out, but mentally, you're probably a little checked out. To help ease your mind during this trying time, here's a collection of things for you to watch this weekend.

In the world of fighting games, the last major event before the Capcom Cup has just wrapped up, but that doesn't mean we don't have some great fighting game tournaments to watch. First, we have Kings of the North V, which will have tournaments in Super Smash Bros. (Stream 1 / Stream 2) as well as Street Fighter, BlazBlue, and Guilty Gear. (Stream / Schedule)

But! You can also watch the Battle Royale 3 tournament in Brooklyn, New York, which will have tournaments for The King of Fighters '98, XIII, and XIV. (Stream / Schedule)

Dota 2 is having its second worldwide Summit tournament of the year, which has the best teams in the world fighting for $100,000 but takes place inside a house in the middle of the Los Angeles suburbs rather than a glitzy studio. (Stream / Schedule

In other MOBA news, we have the League of Legends Intel Extreme Masters Season XI tournament in Oakland, which will have top teams like Team SoloMid and Flash Wolves fighting at the Oracle Arena for a $100,000 prize. (Stream / Schedule)

Additionally, IEM will also be hosting a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, with a prize pool of $300,000. (Stream / Schedule) The other big CS:GO tournament this weekend is the second season of the Eleauge tournament, which will have its last group stage before the playoffs this weekend. (Stream / Schedule)

Finally, we have the HomeStory Cup XIV, which pits high-level StarCraft players against each other for a $10,000 first-place prize. (Stream / Schedule)

That's it for this weekend! If there's anything going on you think we should know about, post it in the comments below.
