Overcooked Serves Up Gourmet Edition And New DLC

by Michael Leri on Nov 15, 2016 at 07:35 AM

Overcooked, Ghost Town Games' culinary couch co-op game, received an extra serving and combo meal today. A new DLC pack, The Lost Morsel, came to Xbox One, PC, and PS4 today for $4.99 along with the Gourmet Edition, a bundle of the base game and the DLC for $19.99.

The Lost Morsel DLC comes with a new world map, six campaign levels, six chefs, a new jungle theme, and a helicopter to traverse the map. The boxed version of the Gourmet Edition is available now on PS4 and Xbox One at select retailers. While The Lost Morsel is already on Steam, the PC version will not be getting a boxed copy.

Our Take
Given the buzz and our review, another helping of Overcooked is not a bad thing. A boxed version for consoles is good too since it gives this quirky game a chance to spread to a larger audience.
