Darkest Dungeon Celebrates One Million In Sales, Dev Plots What Is Next

by Matthew Kato on Nov 03, 2016 at 06:55 AM

With the recent release of Darkest Dungeon on the PS4 and Vita, developer Red Hook Software has passed the one million sales threshold. This is just the beginning for the game and the studio.

The game's official blog breaks out the sales by territory and other metrics, and more interestingly points out what's next.

Mod support is on the way, the studio hopes to add platforms including tablet, and it has started work on "Game 2." It's not in production just yet, and there's no indication if this title is within or related to the Darkest Dungeon franchise or something new.

For more on Darkest Dungeon, check out Dan Tack's review of the PC version, and look forward to the Crimson Court DLC coming in early 2017.
