Latest Rockstar Tease Sure Looks Red Dead Related
Yesterday morning, Rockstar got folks riled up with a simple image: a distressed rendering of its logo against a field of red. Speculation was rampant, with some pointing to the color as evidence that we were looking at some kind of Red Dead-related tease. Today, Rockstar all but confirmed that point, with the release of a new image – this one featuring silhouettes of a group of cowboys.
It was presented without any additional context or commentary, but it's at least another layer off the onion. Whether it's related to a new game in the Red Dead series, a remaster of Red Dead Redemption, a mobile game, a PC port, or a digital collectible card game is unknown for the time being. Considering how things are starting out with the reveal, you may want to prepare for a slow trickle of info in the coming weeks.

I'm not alone in my admiration for Red Dead Redemption, and I'm eager for another Rockstar take on the Western – in whatever form it happens to come in. I even share Suriel's enthusiasm for the possibility of a PC port. While that may not be a marquee release for a game that came out six years ago, it could potentially offer something to make up for it: Westworld mods.
