Stardew Valley 1.1 Launch Trailer Is Relentlessly Charming

by Matt Miller on Oct 03, 2016 at 11:41 AM

For a game about something as simple as farming and rural life and relationships, Stardew Valley sure has an enthusiastic following, including several members of the Game Informer staff. Our reviewer, Javy Gwaltney, also got a big kick out of the game.  Today, developer ConcernedApe released  version 1.1 of the popular PC game, and the release plays host to all sort of bug fixes and additions.

As we reported when the beta of the 1.1 patch went live last week, players now have new relationship options with Shane and Emily, new maps available at character creation, and lots of new structures, activity options, and NPC behaviors. In addition, around 30 distinct bugs have been squashed, improving the overall play experience. You can read about the full list of improvements and fixes on the developer's official page

Curious if it’s worth diving into the new content? Check out the trailer below for a taste of what farm life has to offer this harvest season.
