Sony has announced the October lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers, which includes the remastered Resident Evil HD and Platinum Games' Transformers: Devastation.
Capcom is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise this year, and Resident Evil HD Remaster is a great opportunity to revisit the series' opening story, or to experience it for the first time – just in time for Halloween. Game Informer's Tim Turi reviewed this latest version last year and enjoyed catching up with Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine quite a bit.
Also free to subscribers this month is Transformers: Devastation, which features Platinum's signature beat-em-up style action and voiceover talent from the original Transformers animated series. You can check out Ben Reeves' review here.
Here's the full lineup of PlayStation Plus games for October:
- Resident Evil HD Remaster, PS4
- Transformers: Devastation, PS4
- Mad Riders, PS3
- From Dust, PS3
- Code: Realize –Guardian of Rebirth–, PS Vita
- Actual Sunlight, PS Vita
